Ms. Lisa Heth has worked in the field of domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse for over 24 years. She has been a strong advocate for women and children on the Crow Creek and Lower Brule reservations in South Dakota and is the executive director for Wiconi Wawokiya, Inc. (Helping Families) which operates two domestic violence shelters, one on the Crow Creek reservation and the other one located in Sioux Falls, SD, a transitional housing program and a resource center and is a the founder of the Children’s Safe Place (children’s advocacy center) located adjacent to Project Safe Shelter and recently Pathfinder Center, a place of refuge for victims of human trafficking. Donna Wolff, President of Northeast NE Suicide Prevention Coalition, lives in Norfolk, NE. She lost her son Zebulun to suicide March 1, 2009. He was 18 years old and a senior at Lutheran High Northeast in Norfolk. She is a mother, survivor of suicide loss, cosmetologist, Domestic Violence Community Outreach Advocate, certified in Basic Mediation, facilitator of a support group and has done numerous speaking events since losing her son. Jeremy NeVilles-Sorell has worked in the field of domestic violence since 1994 on issues affecting children who have experienced domestic violence, supervised visitation, batterer’s intervention, and providing training and education. He worked for four years coordinating the Duluth Family Visitation Center serving families with a history of domestic violence and dealing with visits and exchanges of children between parents.  Read More ››
