As part of our ongoing commitment to advocate for the safety of Native women, the National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center (NIWRC) is dedicated to equipping Tribal leaders with the knowledge and resources they need ahead of the 20th Annual Government-to-Government Violence Against Women Tribal Consultation. This crucial event provides a platform for Tribal leaders to address the federal government on issues related to violence against Native women. Through our webinars, resources, and ongoing support, NIWRC aims to ensure Tribal representatives are fully prepared to engage in this vital consultation.   • Administering OVW Tribal funds and programs
  • Enhancing the safety of Native women from domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, homicide, and sex trafficking
  • Strengthening the federal response to these crimes
  • Improving access to justice information systems and crime databases

Join NIWRC for virtual office hours to receive support in developing testimony for the 20th Annual Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) Government-to-Government Violence Against Women Tribal Consultation. These collaborative sessions will help Tribal leaders and designated representatives craft impactful testimony that reflects their communities' needs, priorities, and concerns regarding violence against American Indian and Alaska Native women. Participants can ask questions, receive feedback, and access resources.
