NIWRC’s Tribal Safe Housing Center will uplift the work of MASS Design’s Sustainable Native Communities Design Lab. During this session, participants will learn about the lab's work and how it approaches housing survivors of domestic violence with Indigenous design and community-centered planning.

MASS Design’s Sustainable Native Communities Design Lab’s mission is to close the wealth gap in Indian Country through culturally-responsive housing development and Native home ownership. Together, we’ll explore how culturally grounded design and community planning can support safety, healing, and housing stability for survivors of domestic violence.
